Here’s the big announcement we’ve all been waiting for. Middle of the Map Fest has just released their unbelievable list of performers slated to perform in just a couple of months. The Kansas City festival is now in it’s fourth year, and will once again take over several venues throughout Kansas City’s Westport area April 3rd – 5th.

If you weren’t interested in the festival before, this could be the lineup that does the trick. Kate Nash, Of Montreal, and Gary Numan are some of the bigger names we’ll see taking the stage. If you’re a Get Up Kids fan, not only will you be treated to a rare performance by the popular Lawrence act, but you’ll also get the chance to see Reggie and the Full Effect.

We’ll see some I Heart Local Music favorites, including Big Black Delta (currently on tour with Gary Numan) and Peelander Z.

Tickets for the music festival this year are $55 per person for a three-day pass, and $100 per person for a pass that gets you into the music, forum (April 10th and 11th) and film (April 16th – 20th) events.

I Heart Local Music is also happy to announce that we’ll be returning for another showcase at Middle of the Map Fest. The lineup for our stage, which takes place on Saturday, April 5th, at Record Bar, will play host to some of the hottest acts in Lawrence right now.
