There’s no one first sign of Spring in Lawrence. Rather, it’s a culmination of signs– Tulips peeking out of the ground, a mighty wind pushing warmer temperatures in, maracas girl hitting the streets of Downtown. But one of the biggest hints that Spring has sprung is the unruly patio show the Replay hosts every St. Patrick’s day. You really can’t play this event unless you’re an absolute barn-burner of a bluegrass band. The afternoon parade-goers quickly dissolved into the bar scene, where everyone celebrated the return of lazy Sundays with live music on the patio.
