We’ve never been so happy to lose our hearing. Fans of throbbing bass and amps that are turned up way too loud were thrilled to see Thursday’s lineup at the Replay. Dead Hour Noise, of Lansing, Michigan, brought all the crunchy guitars and orange haze to Lawrence. The band is on tour with Missouri’s Nerver, who are definitely going to be everyone’s favorite hard rockers this year (we’re going to call it the Nerver Fervor!). SLAW rounded out the night with their famously short-yet-furious sets. But like, are you even a Lawrencian if you’ve never missed one of SLAW’s famously quick sets because you stepped out for a smoke or took a quick bathroom break? Don’t blink! You might miss ’em!
