After seeing what the ACBs pulled out during their set on Friday night, it’s reasonable to suspect they’ve got something up their sleeves.

The band played nearly an entire set of brand new music, and it was easy to see where their sound was going. If you can believe it, the new songs are even smoother than those featured on the previously released Little Leaves. There’s a lot more synth going on, sometimes even dueling synths. The tempo is smooth and the vocals are sultry. If there’s a soundtrack to having brunch on a yacht with Lionel Richie, this is it.

Here’s a sample of what they debuted on Friday at the Taproom.

And because it got such a joyful sing-along reaction from the already swollen crowd, here’s an older tune off of Little Leaves.
