In what seemed an endless string of Fourth of July celebrations, Lawrence celebrated a long holiday weekend with another free, outdoor concert on Saturday. This one brought folk, bluegrass, and country to the stage in a high-traffic area. The street in front of the Granada was blocked off while families enjoyed a slight reprieve from a blistering sun, cold drinks, and face painting for the kids. Perched in front of the beautiful and historic buildings at 11th and Mass, fans enjoyed three acts between a setting sun and slight breeze.
