You wouldn’t have recognized the Jackpot on Friday night. What had been a sparsely attended venue in recent years was now brimming with activity. A sea of familiar faces from the scene filled every corner with the sounds of drinking and talking loudly over the bands. It felt like the Jackpot was finally back to its old self, thanks to a politically-charged event that brought out an all-star local lineup.

The Kansas Progress Institute builds a database full of research on how the Koch Brothers funnel money to state representatives. To help raise money for this effort, local musicians were called upon to rock the night away. Below you’ll find photos from the show, featuring Arc Flash, CS Luxem, La Guerre, UltraVivid, and Jeff Stolz. For more on the Kansas Progress Institute, click here.
