The Jackpot played host to a memorable occasion on Friday night when The New Amsterdams played their first show in four years. Lawrence native Matt Pryor is keeping busy these days thanks to his sophomore album May Day; but in between touring and promoting his new album, he got together with Dustin Kinsey, Eric McCann, Nate Hofer, and Dave Wetzel to treat patrons at the Jackpot to a New Amsterdams set.

Photographer Mitch Jones was on hand to catch the show, which featured opener Old Canes.
