If you’re like us and get a little fussy that Oh Sees never come through here anymore, Greg Wheeler and the Polygamist Mall Cops might help ease the pain. With furiously fast shredding that we’ve come to know from Wheeler and Co, the Midwest-based trio are never short of an ass-kicker of a set that’s heavy on the screaming. On Friday night at the Replay, they were joined by newcomers Y Pony, who delivered some fond Ovaries-Eez memories with their beautiful harmonizing. Lawrence favorites Thighmaster rounded out the night with maaaaaajor film noir vibes. Somewhere between a Nancy Sinatra song and the entire “Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood” soundtrack, you’ll find Thighmaster carving their niche more intensely with each performance.
