Snowstorm? What snowstorm? You’d hardly know the weather was a problem based off the wild crowd at Lucia on Saturday night. Scores of bluegrass lovers filled the Downtown Lawrence venue for a night of whoops, hollers, and furiously fast strings. Julian Davis, known as one of the finest flat-pickin’ guitarists in the region, brought his band the Situation out to headline the evening, along with Kansas City’s Grassfed. Photos below.
