Gone in All Directions is Lazy Waters’s first full-length release since their formation in 2016. These Lawrence locals had played together in other projects in the past and came together in recent years to make authentic rock-n-roll. Self-described as “harmony-heavy roots rock,” Lazy Waters lives up to that by packing Gone in All Directions with classic guitar melodies, catchy hooks and authentic lyrics. This release provides all the elements you would expect from a Midwestern Americana band and is an easy crowd pleaser with its ability to induce head-bobbing and toe-tapping while remaining fundamentally interesting.

With themes of love and loss, Gone in All Directions offers a relatable listening experience filled with stories of burning out, making hard decisions and being lost.

Favorite Tracks: “Through the Night” and “Think of Me”

Editor’s note: Lazy Waters play the Replay on Thursday, November 29, with Flash Floods Til Willis and the Erratic Cowboy.
