It’s always a warm, fuzzy feeling when a group of top-notch musicians form a new project.

Lesser Pleasures, fronted by Kirsten Paludan, features a hodge-podge of local musicians (including members of Minus Story, Key Party, and Hush Machine). The band boasts a robust, dramatic sound full of moody pop, with choruses so catchy they reminisce of a more shoegazey version of The Cranberries. Paludan’s crystal vocals are the cherry on top of this gang of Grade A musicians. The band has just two shows under their belts, but Replay revelers got to catch a glimpse on Friday evening.
