Smeed keeps it simple, always presenting an enjoyable stripped down performance and proving that less is actually more. There’s no need for a flashy personality or wild onstage persona with this one. He’s nothing more than sweet-natured and pure. Even on a busy Friday night in Lawrence, audiences chose his Lucia set over the hustle and bustle of Final Fridays and buskers on every corner.
