If you’re not careful, you could quickly grow addicted to Maps For Travelers.

The Kansas City band graced Lawrence with a show at the Jackpot over the weekend. This has to be one of the most solid-sounding rock bands in the area. The rockers give 110% with a performance that really looks like a full body workout. We’re not sure how someone who puts so much physical pizzaz into their performance can still have perfect vocals.
 
It occurred to us during the show that very few bands can rock harder than Maps For Travelers. At one point, they whipped out a trumpet and even made that sound rock and roll. Can you imagine? You don’t have to. They spell it out pretty clearly: this is one of the best rock bands Kansas City has to offer.

The boys don’t come to Lawrence too often, so here’s a little something to tide you over until their next show.
