A hypnotic guitar lulls you to get comfortable, a growling whisper convinces you to move closer, and then finally the melancholic groove has you fully consumed. This first track, “Shattered,” from A Gecko Named Terrance’s (or AGNT for short) self-titled record has the ultimate way of convincing you to just relax.

This attitude remains prevalent throughout the album, full of summertime vibes. The cool bass on “Seventeen,” the shimmering repetition of “Lazer,” and the smooth delivery on “45 Days” all add up to a cool, chilled out experience. AGNT are ready to lay out on the sand with you and watch the waves crash. Let’s hit the beach already.
