As if you needed another reason to love The Caves…

While the rest of us have been moping around this winter, The Caves have actually been pretty busy in the studio. They’ve started recording some new songs, and on a frigid Thursday night they treated the Replay to a few of those tunes.

The newer songs are a bit different than what we’re used to seeing from The Caves. They’re a bit catchier, and just slightly shorter than their previous numbers. But the harmonizing is still oh-so-sweet, the lyrics endearing, and (most importantly) they maintain that earnest tone.

If you missed them, you can watch them again this Thursday night at the Replay when they play with Son of Stan.
