The Granada was packed with an eclectic crowd Wednesday night to hear some fine bluegrass. Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket fame opened the show with a solo set. Using a loop station, he filled out his songs by backing himself with pretty harmonies and singing guitar.

Trampled By Turtles took the stage shortly after to an expectant crowd. They did not disappoint, giving everyone an intense and inspiring blue grass set with intricacies and myriad layers as their banjo, fiddle, guitar, bass and mandolin came together beautifully.
