We’re absolutely convinced that every track Khrystal puts out is a winner. She just debuted “Some People,” produced by the always on-point Duncan Burnett, and it’s a heartfelt and genuine ballad where she invites us to her inner monologue.

From the moment “Some People” fires up, we’re instantly met with a funky base that gets us in the mood to groove. Khrystal is known for effortlessly switching out her R&B crooning for rapping within her songs, and that’s something we’re met with here once again. The catchy “What about you?” in the chorus rings harmoniously with the keys before her rapid-fire lyrics.

These talents are matched by her onstage charm at her live shows. You can see her perform live this Saturday at miniBar before her EP The Awkward Muva comes out in June.
