We love a bit of the ol’ razzle dazzle, and Postmodern Jukebox’s Liberty Hall set on Wednesday night certainly left us with sequins in our eyes. The popular musical collective, which gained notoriety online thanks to their vintage takes on popular hits, celebrated their tenth anniversary as a band by hitting the road this Spring. On this night, they covered hits from Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, David Bowie, and Green Day (to name a few), all while donning thrilling vintage threads.

The fashion is just as much a part of this show as the music, with audience members (spanning a wide range of ages) reciprocating the vibe and also wearing vintage getups (we saw a tiny child in a tiny tuxedo, you guys!). The band’s MC stopped the show early on to have everyone who dressed up give a little twirl and show off their outfits. Since fashion and music often go hand-in-hand, this is one of the allures that keep the band’s fans returning to their live shows. But make no mistake, the real pizazz come from the intricate and unparalleled arrangements, which gives an exclusive take on songs that are familiar to us all, yet become brand new again under these compositions.
