We’ve had a lot of well-crafted hometown shows lately, and this one is taking a place at the top of that list. Heidi Gluck celebrated her recently released album Migrate or Die with a show of well-loved locals at the Bottleneck. Flowers framed every corner of the stage, a perfect picture for the unapologetically feminine Gluck, surrounded by an all-star lineup of musicians in her band (including rocker Michelle Bacon of Frogpond, expert guitarist Bradley McKellip of The Roseline, Jeff Stolz of The Frightened Stag, Braden Young of Alien Hellbop, and Hannah Novaria of like a million Lawrence bands).

Gluck was joined for this release show by The Frightened Stag, who donned robs and hinted at a major upcoming musical project (more on that later), and Kansas City’s Daniel Gum, who brought major Elliott Smith vibes to the stage.
