It’s back! Lawrence PRIDE is returning this Summer with a two-day extravaganza dedicated to drag, ballroom, music, art, and dance!
This year, PRIDE will run June 24-25, a Friday and Saturday and will feature more activities. On Friday, we head to the South end of Mass St. with a mini ball at The Granada, thanks to the Kansas City ballroom community and Fatha Ambrosia. This event is free and all ages, but suggested donations are being accepted for Haus of McCoy, a nonprofit that provides services for queer and trans youth in Lawrence. Friday night will also feature drag performers and live music at Lucia, and fun activities at Vibe.
