Thursday night marked a historic event for White Schoolhouse. The show boasted an all-Native American lineup featuring Black Belt Eagle Scout, Hikes, and Bad Alaskan. The event was an affair celebrating Indigenous identity, and was also organized by a local Native musician Inez Robinson (of LK Ultra). Black Belt Eagle Scout’s Katherine Paul came touting the new album, At the Party With My Brown Friends, a title that came to life with this celebratory occasion. One of the more memorable moments dedicated to the night of Native companionship came when Bad Alaskan asked the audience for their Tribe names, then worked them into a synth-heavy song.
