The moment you set one foot inside Lucia, it hit you. The smell of Jamaican food (courtesy G’s Jamaican Quisine) snaked inside your senses and warmed you right up. It was a far cry from the frozen hell we’re used to in February. But on Friday night, Lucia was a warm and inviting sanctuary away from the cold.

RasNeville AndThe Kingstonians helped revelers celebrate Bob Marley’s birthday with plenty of dancing and lively tunes. They were joined by Noel Davey, former keyboardist for The Wailers. With such a many-membered band on the stage, there was hardly room to move, but the jovial frontman bounced away and lead the crowd in sing-alongs and nonstop grooving.
