A dreary winter gave way to sunny skies and jovial music as the Mardi Gras Parade erupted Downtown on Tuesday. Lawrencians got to show their true colors as they marched, sang, and danced their way throughout Mass Street, occasionally popping in and out of various restaurants to serenade those on their lunch break. Mike and Katie West, of Truckstop Honeymoon, lead the parade of colorfully dressed musicians to celebrate the occasion in their finest glitz and glamour. Photo Gallery below:
