A mostly local lineup delighted a Granada crowd in Lawrence on Friday night. Your Friend, recently back from a string of tours, graced the Granada stage with a host of local musicians. Westerners continued their climb to popularity in this town with their intense rock presence. Paper Buffalo and Omaha’s Twinsmith got the night started with fairly impressive displays. Paper Buffalo has solidified their presence in Lawrence not only as fantastic songwriters but intense performers (this is a band that can’t be ignored this year).
