Lawrence got a sampling of genuine rock Friday night at the Granada. Razor Wire Halo’s growly vocals set the tone for a night of distortion and black t shirts. Local group, The God Project (out of Topeka) slowed it down with their dark industrial rock sound. Vocals floated out from backstage, as Vancouver’s Left Spine down started to play. Front man Kain Daley burst out on stage half way through the first song and lead a high energy cyberpunk set.

But the crowd was clearly there to see Thrill Kill Kult, and they were not disappointed. With B-Movies projected on their logo and leather and studs as far as the eye could see, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult unleashed their dark and aggressive dance beats on the crowd, and they loved it.
