Metal Mondays are a brutal staple in the Bottleneck’s weekly lineup. This Monday saw local rockers Atomic Pajama Party play a sweet dance rock set in their PJs. Get Busy Living, hailing from KCK, entertained the crowd with their signature pop-core. The night finished up with locals My Brother The Vulture, along with nearly every other patron in the Bottleneck, leading a rousing set of what I dubbed “emo karaoke,” covering songs by Saves The Day, Weezer, Taking Back Sunday and Kansas City band Josephine Collective. Hit the Bottleneck any Monday to take part.
