Jordan Geiger never seems to slow down.

The musician behind Hospital Ships just got off a lengthy French tour and has just released a new music video for “Little Dead Leaf,” off of Lonely Twin. It’s a bit gloom and doom, if you don’t mind; but it very poetically compliments the song.

Geiger created the video alongside one of his dearest and oldest friends Andy Byers (the two grew up together and wrote songs for Minus Story). The video was shot while Geiger was briefly living in Brooklyn. Byers directed the low-budget video, and Geiger got to work editing the piece.

Byers is no stranger to video work; you may have even spotted some of his work in the delightfully bizarre Isabella Rossellini videos exploring the seduction rituals of animals. So it’s no wonder that the video for Little Dead Leaf is so picturesque and stylistic.
