Generally, the Replay is where bands go to get rowdy. But NoBunny may have put everyone to shame in that category. The band, each wearing their own version of a bunny getup, was unruly as fuck. They tore down the one red light belonging to the Replay stage, they lit a cymbal on fire, and when they spilled their beer, they threw the empty pitcher at the bar. This was all while screaming and hollering through their rambunctious garage numbers. They even hopped around like bunnies while they played.

But it was the recent election that really fueled their rage. The band talked of the idiocy of the general public, and then asked their fans to “kill your family who voted for Trump.” These orders, of course, came from the frontman— a man wearing nothing more than a bunny mask, a leather jacket, and underwear. This fella was particularly skilled at crawling around on anything that would hold him— and every time he stepped into the crowded audience, they ate him alive. Unruly doesn’t even begin to describe what the set was like.

NoBunny were joined by Little Big Bangs out of St. Louis, a band that became increasingly likable with every song.

Also on the bill, Kansas City’s Warm Bodies. This was one of the more pleasant surprises of the year.

Sporting one of the more furiously fast drummers we’ve seen, this is also where you’ll find a vocalist screaming and throwing her body on the ground in a tantrum during every song. It was like watching an enticing meltdown. Again, this was likely the general sentiment of a post-election traumatized crowd, so it was easy to relate.
