Every now and then an area group catches our eye, and we’ll feel the need to encourage you to see them.

Motorboater is usually a one-man show out of Kansas City, but recently electronic mastermind Dan Eaton has been performing with a few extra members. We were lucky enough to watch Motorboater open for Born Gold last month, and on Saturday we were privileged enough to see the dynamic dance music makers again at the Replay.
 
Seeing Motorboater is a treat for all the senses. The performers bust out all the tricks with high-voltage dance moves, light machines and the occasional fog.
 
Motorboater just released this new psychedelic music video. We’ve been told the video was inspired by Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper designs. Enjoy the trip, and we’ll be sure to let you know the next time Motorboater finds themselves in Lawrence.
