It’s not easy to go at it solo, but it’s an absolute delight to watch Laura Jane Grace master it. The Against Me! guitarist commanded an entire room with a powerhouse performance, and a prowess like that is hard to come by. Bonus points for one of the best crowds we’ve ever seen– an audience primarily made up of trans kids who were just lovely and laid back in the best way. Paired with the delightful Mya Byrne band and the fuck-you attitude of Lawrence’s Cat Fight, this was a fantastic show to end the year.
