It’s sunflower week in our area, which means it’s time to don your finest Kansas attire and head to the fields to appreciate our state flower. The flowers at Grinter Farms reach peak bloom every Labor Day weekend. Every year, we invite local musicians to serenade you from the flowers.

This year, Flash Floods’ Christopher Langwell stood perched amongst flowers as tall as his frame to serenade our readers with a new song, “Tell Me.” Flash Floods has had a lot going for them over the last year, with a successful album release and a dedicated fan base attending their shows.
