After a long COVID hiatus, the Mardi Gras returned back to Downtown Lawrence in all of its loud, colorful glory. This time, revelers gathered outside of Lucia to start the festivities. Horn players, percussionists, and an array of homemade instruments were the star of the show as the parade marched down Mass St., through the library, and ending at Free State Brewery.
