On Friday night, Lawrence dropped acid and headed to the Bottleneck for a local psych-rock festival. OK, it wasn’t actually a psych-rock festival, but it might as well have been, as it showcased some of the best psychedelic rockers in the region. The event served as Stone Grower‘s album release show, and they brought a host of friends. Gnarly Davidson, Braingea, and JC and the Nuns all showed what LFK had to offer in the genre– while both Mystery Blood and Ghost Town Strays proved that the Wichita rock scene is absolutely outstanding right now.
