Something and the Whatevers have been pretty busy lately. The rockers have been plugging away in the studio recording loads of new music, and you’ll get the chance to hear some of those songs soon thanks to a local punk compilation.

The album will feature a host of songs by local punk bands, including three from Something and the Whatevers. Other artists on the comp include Stiff Middle Fingers, Black Luck (formerly Black on Black), The Sluts, Four Arm Shiver, The Havok on Polaris, and The Hemorrhoids. It will be available on bandcamp pages of all those bands soon.

We caught a glimpse of Something and the Whatevers at the Bottleneck over the weekend. Here’s “Going Native,” one of their fast and frenzied new tunes coming out on the comp.
