“Life,” the first single from Major Games’ forthcoming album, gives us all about 25 seconds to prepare for the majestically loud guitars and rampage of drums to kick in. For years I’ve loved hearing discussions on whether or not Major Games is the loudest band around (not just in Lawrence/KC, but on earth) and here we not only get that massive roar, but a beautiful track with fuzzy vocals.

“Life” is a thunderous song; a violent storm that rattles your windows and ear drums. The wailing guitar dances on top of those drums. Those fucking drums; seriously incredible. The trio has us foaming at the mouth for the record.

“Life” is free to download as a part of the record label I Am Shark’s compilation Confessions Under Water Vol. 3, along with twenty(!) other artists including Kansas City’s own Sundiver.
