I’ve been fortunate to write many reviews for this site and for artists with songs that have important, devoted messages. With “Trade,” Reach! is bringing focus and attention to human trafficking, a crime that continues to plague our own society and those around the world.

The band delivers clear, heartfelt lyrics and a message of hope (“No soul shall beg, heart shall break/Not when love shall triumph”). The anthemic guitars and soaring vocals (with harmonies from Cowboy Indian Bear and La Guerre’s Katlyn Conroy) give the song genuine beauty.

The song is a tremendous way to raise awareness and benefits a local charity. When you buy the track, twenty-five cents on the dollar goes to Lawrence’s Ga Du Gi Safe Center.
