The scene was exceedingly hip on Wednesday night at the Granada where a slew of Lawrence townies, musicians and hipsters anxiously awaited the UK boys in Foals.

Blondfire played first, closing their set with their huge hit “Where The Kids Are.” Surfer Blood chilled everyone out with their low-fi beach rock and kitty mews sound effects. Foals immediately counteracted that with a heavy hitting and driving indie rock set dripping with feeling.
