On Friday evening, patrons at Lawrence’s favorite record store were treated to the unique stylings of local doo-wop group Dean Monkey and the Dropouts and garage rockers Bloodbirds. The two bands joined forces to entertain a small audience at Love Garden while a mild Spring breeze rolled through town. Bloodbirds were enjoyably loud, and it’s becoming apparent that Dean Monkey and the Dropouts have been working on their dance moves.
