Spring is here and the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra musicians want to come out and play! Celebrate Memorial Day weekend with a picnic in the park and the gorgeous sounds of KC’s best string players. The new outdoor stage at historic South Park will showcase the KCCO strings and two amazing KU musicians: conductor Carolyn Watson and oboe soloist Margaret Marco.

Come picnic and frolic at 6:00 p.m. and enjoy festive music at 7:00 p.m. – from Baroque tunes of Respighi and a joyous concerto by Vivaldi to the contemplative sounds of American composer John Corigliano and rousing dances by George Palmer.

The concert is FREE for all ages. Please register HERE: https://ci.ovationtix.com/35591/production/1049930?performanceId=10701934

Donations are greatly appreciated!

Lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics welcome with plenty of room to spread out. Reserved seating available for Season Ticket holders – please call the KCCO office at 816 960-1324 to let us know you are coming.
