Ella Red’s first headlining tour brought her to the Bottleneck Monday night, with fans singing along to every song of her debut album It’s Not Real and leaving with stories of her pet tarantulas. She even went as far as to hand paint stickers of her tarantulas to give fans buying merch. Her energy was infectious, jumping constantly and asking the audience to join her. During her song “Party Animal,” Ella chose a special audience member to award a deer antler headband as she joined fans on the Bottleneck floor. Following the tour’s lovebug theme, fans were covered in various fake bugs, pink, and spiderwebs.

Peggy opened the night with original songs, and later joined ELLA on stage for their collaborative song, “Alice.” Even from the beginning of the night, the audience seemed to know every lyric.
