Retro Cocktail Hour’s 30th anniversary filled Liberty Hall on Saturday night with Hawaiian shirts, leis, cocktails, and retro wear all around. A band specialized in a mixture of jazz and classic rock, Nutty performed classic songs ranging from the Spiderman theme to “Hit the Road, Jack.” Their comical transitions led to a night of laughter and drinking jokes.

While the evening honored Darrell Brogdon’s retirement from Kansas Public Radio after over 40 years of serving as Program Director, episodes of Retro Cocktail Hour aren’t planned to end anytime soon. Retro Cocktail Hour will continue to serve loyal fans across the country with strange music every week through the Kansas Public Radio.
