Just before Daniel Donato’s set started at the Granada on Thursday, we overheard one fan say it best: “Yeah man, a nice mix of hippies and cowboys.” Honestly, that’s the review. Daniel Donato shows are one of the best-kept secrets in the region. Blending classic rock (think Grateful Dead) and plenty of twang influences, what results is a fan base of the absolute chillest people you know. There were folks in cowboy hats slamming beers next to people wearing tie-dye shirts. Lawrence in a nutshell (looking at you, Gaslight Gardens crew).

Donato is known for really long sets, so there were no openers (just an intermission). You can see photos from the night below (and if you dig it, revisit our interview with him ahead of the show here).
