There are some artists who remind us consistently that they are always at the top of their game. Louiz Rip is one of those artists.

The rapper just released a new single, “Us,” the title track off his upcoming EP. He is hands-down one of our favorite people to watch perform live because he brings a heavy and in-your-face energy to the stage. It’s nice to know that same energy translates to his recorded work.

Louiz Rip says the new EP shows his lyrical depth and engaging storytelling, and promises a compelling musical odyssey. “What I hope listeners get from this EP, a feel that hip hop is truly multi- faceted and has many different sides that can and should be expressed and explored more often,” he says. “I hope it allows them to see unseen and unspoken parts of me that they may also recognize within themselves and others around them.” 

Us was created with longtime collaborator and producer Aikido Bray (aka Approach), and comes out August 1st.
