Intelligent Sound and Lowercase Kansas have organized a showcase full of beatmakers and producers, a scene that doesn’t get nearly enough attention in Lawrence. This showcase will put the talents of several music-makers in the spotlight, including LION, Strider-Kun, Rick Maun, Ginjahbeard, Alccalh, Geesace, Zelus, and Jonah P.

Lowercase Kansas has generally done a great job at putting new faces on stages and strong voices on the mic, which is why we have high hopes for the showcase. The event also acts as a food drive because anyone who shows up with two canned goods gets in for free.
