Truett and the Traitors might seem like an unflappably cool rock band, but they exposed their nerd colors at the Record Bar during their sound check playing music from Zelda, Mario Brothers, and Star Wars. They were joined by My Rotten Self who are excited for their newest album to release in July and promise to return to show it to Kansas City. The hometown duo Katy and Go-Go started off the evening with an amazing show of skill on guitar and drums.
