Look for naturalistic themes in Heartscape Landbreak songs
Taylor Holenbeck tends to have a lot on his plate, but he can hardly sit still. Between playing with Hospital Ships, Colony Collapse, and Old Canes, he makes time for solo project Heartscape Landbreak.

Months of hard work will finally pay off for Holenbeck when he releases Long Live the Dead. The Heartscape Landbreak EP was recorded over the last year along with the help of Joshua Browning and Jordan Geiger. Holenbeck says the EP will also be accompanied by a 20-page art zine, so it’s no surprise that he’ll be performing at the Wonder Fair art gallery on Saturday. Holenbeck says the zine will have the theme of the triumph and despair of the natural world, as well as other naturalistic ideas. Only about 100 zine/EP combos will be available.

Looking forward, Graveface will also be releasing a Heartscape Landbreak / Hospital Ships 7″ split on vinyl this month, so keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, enjoy “Seed Song” below, and head to Wonder Fair on Saturday to catch the beautiful set.
