Everyone’s favorite workout-themed band is back with a new single. The track “Elliptical” continues the band’s trajectory in mastery of cool vibes (they describe themselves as “garage pop for cool grandmas”). THIMASTR is a shining example of “less is more” with minimalist percussion and breezy guitar licks that are easy to vibe to. Rejoice, stoners! This one’s for you. The timing between the lull of the summer slow down and the gentleness of the autumnal season blowing in couldn’t have been better for this release.

The album, Muscle Memories, is the follow-up album to 2020’s Between the Knees and Squeeze, and is set to come out September 29th, with a mini tour kicking off September 9th at recordBar in Kansas City. You can listen to the new track below.
