Experience the magic of the season with this year’s Vesper’s, from the KU School of Music. Two beloved annual Vespers concerts are returning to the Lied Center this year.

Vespers, now in its 99th year, kicks off on Sunday, December 3th, at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The event features performances and seasonal sounds from choral and instrumental ensembles.

About Vespers:

The 99th Vespers program is set to enchant audiences with a rich tapestry of musical performances that span various genres. From the moving choral-orchestral setting of “Noe, Noe!” to the heartfelt rendition of “Veni, Veni Emannuel,” the concert promises a diverse range of musical experiences that capture the spirit of the season. You can look forward to choral harmonies, instrumental solos, and a cappella renditions. These performances, woven together with skill and passion, will transport you to a world of musical magic, making this year’s Vespers an event not to be missed. Keep an eye out for special appearances by the Lawrence Children’s Choir, directed by Dr. Gabe Lewis O’Connor, as well as the KU Trumpet Ensemble, directed by Prof. Aaron Romm.
