MoonShroom is the star crossed culmination of dreams and songs from two free spirited artists. Liberated expression & genuine songwriting is at the core of this dynamic project.
Lily B Moonflower & Jake Keegan began weaving their sonic tapestry together under the full Harvest Moon in October 2018. Both drawing from performance experience individually — the two began playing & recording together in their various projects.
Four years later, under the Harvest Moon in California, over looking Mt. Shasta– Lily and Jake were poised for artistic collaboration. After performing on the festival circuit, touring venues, and experimenting with sound, the two songwriters were graced with the inspiration to create MoonShroom to represent their artistic expressions. The group performs on stages far & wide, as a duo, as well as a full band.

Lily B Moonflower is a songwriter with a velvet voice and a performer that finds joy in sharing her lifelong craft, carrying on traditions of roots music, and connecting with the souls of the world thru song.
She refers to her style of music as, Folk ‘n Roll With A Twang. Lily’s handscripted lyrics are uniquely crafted and are delivered with grace and grit. She is able to connect with her audience on a profound level and leaves a lasting impression on the folks she meets. Her original songs are like colorful sonic tapestries that uplift any spirit. Her style of writing reflects her genuine soulshine and her unique perspective.

The Jake Keegan Band delivers a high energy performance that seamlessly spans genres. Raised on rock n roll, steeped in the blues, and expanding on bluegrass, and folk techniques — this act truly is a music experience all of its own. A heavy hitting rhythm section, fronted by Jake’s powerful vocals, mixed with versatile playing on electric guitar, resonator guitar, lap steel, and acoustic guitar— makes for an ever-changing live show.
