It was a glamorous affair at the Bottleneck as revelers donned their finest and cut a rug at I Heart Local Music’s Black and White Ball. HighWesthus is hands down the funnest performer to watch dance onstage, and he jump started the evening with a lively brand of hip-hop perfection that featured him dancing and shuffling across the stage. Jazz trombonist Kadesh Flow gave The Phantastics a robust sound to round out the all-night dance party with soul, funk, and hip-hop tunes fronted by the charismatic Kemet the Phantom. In true accordance with the theme, most attendees wore black and white and danced under lights reflected by sequined banners unfurled onstage.
